Dolly's Pinup Playhouse

So welcome back!!! There's pics on my blog that i won't share on Facebook and Instagram because once again you're special! Let's start by saying i went for a teacher thing and rolled with it lol. Got a few hot for teacher links from friends so the plan worked! I'm wearing a Voodoo Vixen Secretary top and a later acquired Voodoo Vixen black pencil skirt with kick pleat. The stockings are Leg Avenue nude stockings with black capping and the heels are my favorite t.u.k. red pair. The hip slip is cacique and it's brocade with gold welts and gold clasps. I want to share with you guys all product details in case you want to go out and grab this stuff for yourself!!!! If you guys have suggestions or just some great feedback shoot a girl a comment!!!

So todayyyyy was a pain day. But despite stuff you get inspired. Watched the Pink video for "Beautiful Trauma" and it's lush retro look and dance inspired me to down a few aspirin and get my gear on! Hey i totally tried but i ain't no ginger rogers....yet lol. Something to strive for!!! My unique vintage number is gonna need altering soon but check my corset bod!!

So after months of trying to find this beauty i finally found my very own Hell Bunny Clara dress!!! Sold a few non fitting beauties to some awesome ladies and got this number all the way from good old merry England! My joy knew no bounds when she showed up all slinky and all mine. This beauty fit like an absolute glove. Zip back and closure at front and back of neck with a beautiful fabric that accommodated my generous bust. That already gets an a+ lol. Let's start a system shall we. The lipstick system. 4 lipsticks is 4 stars. So this long awaited arrival earns 💄💄💄💄

Ok i posted this to Instagram and Facebook. This was huge for me peeps. I have not only body issues but trauma issues. For the first time in my life i bought lingerie and freaking wore it! This beautiful somewhat editorial shot was the result. Admittedly i did a double take to literally understand that was me. The positive feedback and outpouring of support touched my heart. I felt maybe someone could identify with the struggle and see that they too could grow from it. With that said I've always been a big girl so that too left me feeling unable to do this. With hard work I'm making my journey all yours as i try my hand at this whole pin up thing. Wish me luck folks ❤❤

A friend commented that my preparation pics were adorable so here you go lol. Ladies we alllll know we do not get out of bed like this lol. Also that surprised look can be taken as Oh look i found makeup on sale or omg new dress need now. Basically when i see a new wiggle dress i lose all composure and cognition lol!!! Anyone that knows me knows green is my favorite color. This beauty hit my eye at just the right time and price. It's figure hugging in all the right places accented with criss cross accents at the waist and bust. This emerald beauty is made by Tatyana and is called the Vicki. I felt like the effervescent Christina Hendricks portraying the retro goddess Joan on Mad Men. I paired it with a chocolate faux fur coat and draped it for a saucy stole look.

Teeny nit of backstory. I grew up overweight. I mean severely overweight. By 21 i was 405 lbs. I was sick and struggling. Part of that was being made to feel less than by bullying. The title of this is just that. I was feeling myself in this outfit today. To look back on that time to where i am now is night and day. I'm at my lowest weight ever and i fit stuff i never dreamed!!! So here it is!!! Gonna do photos with this baby but took it for a fit test drive! The Laura Byrnes Lilith Top in the Mark Stripe pattern is for the goddesses!!! Seperate i also received my timeless trends waist cincher. Am i over the moon yes. I will be doing photos with this top and pairing it with a pencil skirt by Voodoo Vixen i already own. I'm thinking mad hatter or Nightmare before Christmas with this beauty💗💗
